Overview
ItemsToFlip uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the service, remember preferences, understand usage, serve ads, and measure affiliate-link activity.
Essential Cookies
Essential cookies keep core product features working. They may support admin sessions, Pro account status, signed email state, security checks, and interface preferences such as theme settings. Disabling these cookies can break parts of the site.
The Cookies We Set
These are the first-party cookies the application sets directly, plus the principal third-party cookie families that may be present when their services load.
- itf_email keeps your Pro subscription status and signed email attached to your browser. Essential. Lasts 90 days.
- itf_alert_verified proves that this browser completed the mailbox-verification link required to create, view, reconfirm, or delete Deal Alerts. Essential for Deal Alert management. Lasts up to 30 days and is cleared when you sign out or claim a different email.
- flipper_admin_session is the login session for site administrators. Essential. Lasts 24 hours and is never set for regular visitors.
- itf_visitor_id is a first-party ID we set when you click an eBay affiliate link, so we can connect clicks to aggregate reporting. Lasts 1 year.
- itf_session_id does the same for a single visit. It clears when you close your browser.
- _ga and _ga_* are Google Analytics cookies that tell visitors and sessions apart.
- __gads and __gpi are Google AdSense cookies used to serve and measure ads.
We also use browser localStorage and sessionStorage, which are similar to cookies but are not automatically sent with requests. They may hold your theme preference, copies of affiliate measurement IDs, whether you dismissed the cookie notice, and a pending Deal Alert query while you move through checkout. Session storage normally clears when that browser tab is closed.
Analytics and Performance
When a site-specific measurement ID is configured, we use Google Analytics to measure page views, feature usage, search and affiliate interactions, and other usage patterns. Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies such as cookies used to distinguish visits and sessions.
We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate site usage and performance trends, including page views and basic traffic patterns.
Advertising and Affiliate Measurement
We use Google AdSense to serve ads and measure ad performance. We also use first-party affiliate measurement cookies to connect eBay outbound clicks with aggregate site analytics and affiliate reporting.
Error Monitoring
We use Sentry for error monitoring. Sentry sets no cookies on our site. It receives diagnostic data when an application error occurs, and its Session Replay feature also records about 10% of visits with all text masked and all media blocked.
Your Controls
You can manage cookies through your browser or device settings. Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and similar tools may limit analytics, ads, and affiliate measurement. Blocking essential cookies may prevent some ItemsToFlip features from working correctly.
